A GIFT FROM GOD
At Denver Community Church we are a people who want to share our resources with one another to further the work to which we have been called. As a faith community we recognize that all we have been given is a gift from God, and one way we participate in God’s work is through giving of our fi nancial resources. At DCC we receive all our gifts at our Sunday gatherings in the Gift Box at the back of the auditorium.
HOW THE MONEY IS USED
At DCC we use our money in three areas:
- All contributions go into our General Fund, unless they are otherwise designated (Children’s, Love Fund, Local Missions, etc.). If you want any of your contribution to go toward one of these, please indicate that on your envelope or the Memo Line of your check.
- Love Fund gifts will be held until needs arise either within or outside of our Faith Community. These gifts are given in addition to your regular contributions.
- We give as a church. DCC has made a priority to give 12% of what is given to the church to ministry partners with whom we work to expand the Kingdom. This allows all of us to be involved in both local and international work through your giving.
The financials presented on our website are a snapshot of the fiscal year budget. This information is meant to give you an idea from month-to-month where DCC is based on the fiscal year budget. DCC's financials are reviewed on a monthly basis to maintain accountability and to make sure DCC is being a good steward of what God continues to provide through your generosity. (Process: Budget adjustments and the annual budget process are guided by the Finance Team, approved by the Elders, and presented to our Ministry Team/Members.) Ways to Give at DCC
One-Time Contribution
If you choose to make a one-time contribution there are two ways to do so:
- Cash or Check
If you are giving in cash and would like a tax deductible receipt at the end of the year, please include your name, address, and phone number on the envelope. - Credit Card (online)
Here you can specify if you'd like your donation to go to specific areas such as our service journeys, building fund, etc.
Automatic Contribution
If you choose to give through automatic contribution there are two ways to do so:
- Give online via your credit card.
You will be redirected to our database where you will be asked to sign up for an account. We will try to respond ASAP. Thank you! - Directly from your Checking or Savings Account
Bill Pay
This can be established through most banks. Just add DCC to your list of automatically paid accounts.
