The Deacons meet certain physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the faith community and greater Denver Community, as directed by the Elder Team. Included in this, the team is delegated by the Elders to oversee all legal, financial, human resource, policy and property matters, care for the internal and external community, and connecting those within our faith community. The Deacon Team members serve on a one-year rotating basis.

The Community Care team exists to help members of our church community who may need extra support during a challenging or painful time. We are able to meet with an individual one on one, connect them to counseling, connect them with support groups, or just listen and pray with them in the moment. You can find out more information about the different ways we support our church community by clicking here.

The Connections Team hopes to help our community develop a deeper connection with God by building relationships with others and joining in serving both within and outside the walls of the church. We want to help people understand their giftings, so they can find a good fit for service. We want to provide opportunities for people to meet each other and begin building friendships/community so that they are able to journey with others. Being a part of the Connections team means that you help plan and carry out monthly connecting events, respond to Connection Cards and occasionally meet with people who are looking for a personal connection. You also help with 10 Minutes to Connect after service, as well as cast vision for ways that people can begin to know one another within our church community and build deeper relationships with each other. We also provide support to other team leaders and make sure that their team members are feeling connected in both service and community.

MORE INFO //
DCC feels called to be good stewards of what God has given us. The facility team focuses this stewardship on the facility. We care for maintenance of the grounds (shoveling snow, pulling weeds, etc.) and the building itself (changing lights and filters, building safety, etc.). We also work with larger one-time projects. If you’re a handyman or just enjoy working with your hands, we have a place for you.
