There are several hints in these next verses to the historical Jesus. It should come as no surprise then when we find that right in the middle of the instruction to love one antoher we see the simple words: “Live like Jesus did.” The life of the historical Jesus was marked fully and totally by love. We will spend these weeks reflecting on what a life of love (a life like Jesus) looks like.
