We know that investing in more relational connections between our leaders, our families, and our kids leads to better connection within DCC. So, we are currently recruiting leaders who are passionate about kids and want to invest in the lives of the next generation. If you are interested, we’d love to send you more information about becoming a DCC Kids Leadership Team for the 2022-2023 school year.

Small Group Leader

Our small group leaders serve our preschool through elementary kids with enthusiasm and creativity. They engage in conversations around the weekly Bible story and emphasize the basic truths through games and activities.
Commitment:
  • Two Sunday Mornings a month during the school year. There are Preschool/Kindergarten specific Leaders and Elementary specific Leaders but we all function as one team. At this age range, consistency is key to relationship.
  • Once a month Leaders Connect. This is our leadership development program, disciple making process and volunteer training vehicle all rolled into one. And it just happens to be a great opportunity for fellowship, to connect with others and have a little fun in the process.
  • Other Events on As-Needed Basis during the school year – we may plan events based on our community’s needs that we will ask leaders to be present at in order to connect parents with the adults that lead their children.

Early Childhood Leader

Our early childhood leaders serve provide loving care and attention in our infant, toddler, and 2’s & 3’s rooms so parents can engage the adult teaching with peace of mind. God’s love is shared in these classrooms through play time, circle time, and short stories.

Commitment:

  • One Sunday Morning a month during the school year.  The goal is to provide a fun, safe and loving environment for these young kiddos while sharing the love of Jesus with them.
